Terrifying Townhouse

Let me just start by saying that my family on my mothers side has had these types of experiences for generations. I myself have had several other experiences but will relay this one for now.

It was about 6 years ago in a two story townhouse in Studio City. The price was great and I felt lucky to be the one who got it. Not too long after I realized why it was so reasonable.

It was a very hot summer and my first experience was one evening when I came home with a friend after dinner. We walked upstairs to my bedroom only to see a white mist hovering in the middle of the room. We walked in and it was freezing cold. We were both in awe looking at each other when it vanished. Within the next couple of days there were constant pounding footsteps up and down the stairs and the television in my room was turning itself on in the middle of the night almost every night. My sister who was living with me at the time finally told me of the experiences she was having.

During the night she would often feel a small child type crawl into her bed and hold tightly to her. This did not scare her but the experiences I was having only got more violent. My sister soon moved out and I was living there alone for awhile. That's when I would wake in the middle of the night unable to move because something was holding me down. I decided I had to find a roommate. My lease wasn't up yet and It wasn't hard to find someone because I lived in a desirable area. My co-worker moved in but not for long. One night around nine p.m., the police showed up at our house. My neighbour called because he saw a man in strange clothes lying on my roof hanging his head over the side looking into the window. Apparently the man disappeared into thin air when the police came. A couple of nights later my neighbour saw the same thing and yelled out the window. He said the man slowly stood up, started walking to the ledge and vanished into thin air. Soon after that loud stomping started happening on the roof at three a.m. every single morning. My roommate was at her wit's end when one night I was awakened by her screaming. She had seen a dark figure in her doorway. When her boyfriend, who was staying with her for the night, turned on the light there was a huge wet red spot on the floor that appeared out of nowhere. No matter how we cleaned it came back every night. She moved out. The final straw came one night when I was having a nightmare that I was being brutalised by a huge man. My eyes popped open in terror and my whole bed was violently shaking and my head was hitting the wall repeatedly. After it stopped I saw bloody scratches on my stomach and legs and I had a huge lump on my head. I knew that I didn't do this to myself since I have never been able to grow my fingernails past the edge of my finger. I managed to get out of there. Sometimes when I'm driving in Studio City I drive by and notice the townhouse is for rent. Gee, I wonder why?
