In October of 2005 my husband and I along with a dear friend took a trip to Gettysburg PA.
On our way to the battlefield passing through the town we noticed signs offering ghost tours. Being non-believers we laughed but decided to try one just to pass the time.
So off we went.

After some walking we stopped near a school at the edge of the battlefield. Standing near the front of the group, listening to the stories the guide had to offer, I glanced out at the darkness at something that had caught my eye. I must have jumped because my friend standing next to me whispered "whats wrong?". I pointed and she too saw it!
At first we both stood there frozen, huddled together until my friend had the sense to snap a photo.
What we saw was an orb of some kind coming straight out of the ground. At first it was the size of a baseball and green in color. As it floated higher the bluer and bigger it got, then as quick as it came it was gone.

In the car going back to the hotel we told my husband what we saw. Once again we all laughed and said it must have been someone out there with a flashlight or something.
Forgetting about the incident we finished our vacation and went home.

Flipping through the pictures we got developed of our trip my heart nearly stopped. I could hardly believe what I was looking at!.
The photo my friend took on the ghost tour was not the orb we expected but the ghostly images of what looked like 2 people.
We were not laughing anymore, the hair on the back of our necks was standing on end.

Needless to say we are now believers and are planning another trip to Gettysburg in hopes of another chance sighting.
